Terry Bogard
Terry Bogard Both Terry and his brother Andy Bogard were street kids picked up by a man named Jeff Bogard. Jeff was a reknowned fighter in South Town, and taught his two adopted sons the way of his fighting skills. One day, Jeff was brutally murdered by a mysterious man. After years of practice, Terry and Andy stood up in revenge to the man who is solely responsible for their beloved Jeff's death: Geese Howard!

Thus Terry's unending fight for true strength begins; Geese always haunting his every move. He originally entered the King of Fighters arena with Andy and Joe Higaski to test his skills, but with the entry of Geese in the scene in King of Fighters '96, Terry obviously seems to be more intangled in that rivalry than anything else. Based on the prologue of the Garou (Fatal Fury) Team, Andy had no intentions of entering, but Terry was determined to, after hearing of possible connections between King of Fighters '97 and Geese from Blue Mary.

Terry seems to be never satisfied with the level of his skills. This might be because of his close ally and rival, Andy. Though their true blood ties remain a mystery, Terry and Andy were raised as brothers, and are very close. But I am sure many people out there KNOW how vicious sibling rivalry can be, and though very peaceful, the Bogard brothers are no exception. Each understand the strength and ability of the other, and honestly respect them. The healthy rivalry between Terry and Andy has made them world reknown fighters of today.

Being one of the oldest characters around in the King of Fighters' series, Terry has always been a favourite among players. His moves are familiar to many, and so is very easy to use for veterans. However, compared to the newer characters in the fighting game world, Terry lacks in numbers of special moves. Nonetheless, Terry is a strong character overall, considering how much damage he is possible in dishing out, and should be a character to be feared of as an opponent.
